About the role

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring and evaluation
- Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments according to physician orders
- Develop and update individualized nursing care plans
- Document patient care accurately in the facility EHR system
- Educate patients and families on care, medications and discharge instructions
- Work with interdisciplinary teams and follow facility protocols and Joint Commission standards
- Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Active US RN licence, or eligibility through NCLEX-RN, in the hiring state (compact licence an asset)
- Current BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on specialty
- Acute care experience preferred
