About the role
BeGlobal recruits Registered Nurses (RNs) for healthcare employers across Canada, from acute care hospitals to long-term care homes and community health settings.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care according to nursing best practices
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient responses
- Document care accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment and discharge plans
- Work with physicians, allied health professionals and care teams to coordinate care
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Supervise and guide RPNs/LPNs, PSWs and students where applicable
Qualifications
- Nursing degree or diploma recognized in Canada
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the provincial nursing regulator (for example CNO, BCCNM or CRNA); internationally educated nurses welcome
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and critical-thinking skills
